Sensex and Nifty closed 0.95 percent and 0.65 percent down respectively on weekly basis. Once again volatility ruled the day's trade. ·         Global cues remained subdued and the same drift was seen at domestic level as well. The benchmarks recovered from the intra‐day lows in last leg of trade. Sectoral indices concluded in a mixed fashion. Healthcare stocks were in limelight while Metal counter was gloomy.
